Description
This semester I engaged in a world building project for my mixed media class in which I designed and detailed the history, creatures, and locations of a fictional world in a handmade book designed to appear as through it was constructed from found pages. Twenty-four pages in total were created from ink, acrylics, tea, and graphite on various types of paper and bound into a crude leather-covered book.
This encyclopedia or travel journal styled page features hand written text and excerpts from a map as well as a personal journal. Media include Pen, ink wash, and acrylics.
