"So what happened again?" Diana asked for the third time, unable to believe a word she was hearing.

Kasai sighed. "If you must know again, first Latybalt and Cain's sister, Arabelle, started fighting, then Cain showed up and tried to split it apart. So then Latybalt killed Aratio and Cain attacked her. He killed her, and everyone ran to Desdamona, and she ordered that Cain was exiled for fighting in public and anyone that comes across him should immediately kill him."

Diana groaned and fell back into her bed of leaves in her forest den. "No. No! What the heck is wrong with him? I didn't even know he had a sister...." She paused, still trying to soak it all in. "No...no....I refuse to believe it. No. Are you sure?" She sat up again, looking to her friend.

Kasai stood up from her seat at a table-like stump. "Believe what you want," she said, beginning to walk away, "but don't be surprised when he doesn't show up for a couple of weeks."

"No, Kasai, wait!" she yelped. "I believe you, it's just...." She lay back down again, visibly distressed.

"I know, I know, I know." The vampire returned to the table. "But maybe it's a good thing you didn't leave with him."

"What?" Diana shot upright in alarm.

"Well, someone had to dethrone Latybalt. She was becoming too obnoxious."

"Oh," Diana sighed, vaguely relieved. She relaxed into the leaves again, letting her thoughts wander. "Oh, God," she groaned suddenly. "If I had just gone to the Human Realm with him, none of this would have happened."

"Actually, yes it would," said Kasai, seeming partly absorbed in whatever she was arranging on the table. "If you had gone, you know as well as I do that Velan would have been tracking you, which would've led to all out war." She swept her hand over the stump's surface, bending whatever she had collected into and arch and creating a rapid popping noise.

Diana frowned and looked up at her friend. "Are you playing cards?"

She hesitated. "Maybe..."

The werewolf rolled her eyes. "How you could play cards at a time like this is beyond me. Actually...." She stood up and joined Kasai at the stump. "Deal me in. I need something to distract me."

Scene eleven of my Romeo and Juliet rewrite, the Tragedy of Diana and Cain.

Not much to say about this scene, either. Diana and Kasai review what happened in the city, and tell about how Cain is now exiled and should be killed if he's ever seen in the Underworld. So...yeah.

Again, alert me to the presence of any typos.
